The BetterBirth study examines the impact that improving birth attendant behavior with the aid of the WHO Safe Childbirth Checklist in a network of training coaches has on saving lives of newborns and mothers in rural facilities in Uttar Pradesh. In our partnership with Ariadne Labs, we are tasked with telling the BetterBirth story in an engaging, interactive way, while also having the platform serve as a tool that coaches can use to instruct birth attendants on the importance of following the WHO checklist, the process of the study, and the network of support they have.
